About
I’m a junior at Harvard studying electrical engineering. I grew up on a farm in Maryland, which meant noticing when things didn’t make sense. In high school, I did research in cancer bioinformatics, first at the Uniformed Services University, then at the NCI Cancer Data Science Lab. I spent three years looking for the places where reference data quietly breaks, building pipelines over millions of genomic variants.
Now I’m in the Harvard Microrobotics Lab building bio-inspired robots and designing their drive electronics, where a whole board has to weigh less than a grain of rice. I am a course assistant for CS50 and co-founded SPARKS Book Club, a nonprofit that runs a monthly book club for girls at a Title I school back in Maryland. I like problems with tight constraints where you have to get creative to make something work.
